These Terms are being finalised. The contracting entity, governing law, dispute resolution forum and indemnification provisions are still with our advisers. Everything else on this page applies to your use of the Platform today, and nothing here affects rights you have under the laws that apply to you.

Key Principles
By using JDEVerse, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Use the Platform responsibly
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Protect the privacy of others
- Comply with all applicable laws
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JDEVerse, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms as the Platform changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update, and we will give notice of material changes through the Platform. Continuing to use JDEVerse after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
Most public JDEVerse content can be viewed without an account. Account creation and account-based features are available only to individuals aged 18 or older.
JDEVerse is a professional platform intended for adults and for professional use.
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for activity under your account. Use accurate information about yourself, do not impersonate anyone else, and do not share your login.
Keep your credentials secure. Two-factor authentication is available and we recommend enabling it. You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your permission.
4. User Content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you grant JDEVerse a licence to host, display and distribute it on the Platform so that it can be shown to other users, which is the purpose of publishing it.
You are responsible for what you submit, and you must have the rights or permissions needed to submit it.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not contain confidential information, personal information you are not authorised to disclose, trade secrets, or proprietary employer or client material — including architecture, configurations, code and screenshots.
We may remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.
5. Professional Passport & Public Profile
Your Professional Passport and public profile show information you choose to publish. You control what is included and whether the Passport is public.
Information you publish may be visible to other visitors and may be indexed by search engines. Only publish what you are willing to make public.
Credentials shown on a Passport reflect what has been recorded or verified on the Platform. Do not present qualifications, employment or achievements you do not hold.
Verification on JDEVerse does not constitute independent professional certification, licensing or endorsement unless expressly stated.
6. Community Conduct
Treat other people with respect. Harassment, abuse, threats, hate speech, impersonation and deliberate deception are not permitted.
Do not post spam, promotional material presented as independent contribution, or fraudulent, deceptive or materially misleading professional claims.
We may warn, restrict, suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.
7. Intellectual Property
The JDEVerse name, brand, design and platform software belong to us. Content contributed by members belongs to them, subject to the licence described above.
Product names, trademarks and documentation belonging to technology vendors are the property of their respective owners. Referring to a technology does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Do not reproduce proprietary vendor documentation or databases in whole on the Platform.
8. Platform Use Restrictions
Do not attempt to access other members' accounts or data, interfere with the Platform, upload malware, or probe or test its security without permission.
Do not scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-extract Platform content or member information except where expressly permitted by JDEVerse or applicable law, and do not use the Platform to build a competing dataset.
Do not engage in credential harvesting, malicious or spam automation, account farming, impersonation, or attempts to bypass access controls.
Do not use the Platform for unlawful purposes or in breach of applicable laws.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
Job and event listings link to their source. Following such a link takes you to a third-party site with its own terms and privacy practices, and JDEVerse is not responsible for those sites or for the accuracy of what they publish.
JDEVerse does not act as the employer, recruiter, event organiser or ticketing provider unless expressly stated otherwise.
Where JDEVerse cites an external source, we aim to identify the source and relevant dates. Verify anything important against the original.
10. AI and Automated Features
AI assistant features are not enabled at this stage. These terms will be updated to describe how they work before any such feature is made available.
Where AI has assisted in producing content, JDEVerse labels it. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a specific environment, and it is not professional legal, financial, employment or security advice.
If AI features are introduced, you remain responsible for decisions you make using their output, and you must not submit confidential, proprietary or personal information to them unless you are authorised to do so.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Content is contributed by members and drawn from public or authorised sources, and it may be incomplete, out of date or unsuitable for your environment.
Nothing on JDEVerse is professional advice. Verify anything before applying it to a production system, and test changes in an appropriate environment first.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, JDEVerse is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on content published on the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
This section is being finalised with legal advice so that it is appropriate to the jurisdiction in which JDEVerse operates. Until then, no indemnity is asserted against you under these Terms.
14. Termination
You may delete your account through the available account controls. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including any applicable retention requirements.
Public contributions may remain available in anonymised or otherwise appropriately retained form where necessary for the continued integrity of discussions, or where retention is permitted or required.
We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued access presents a risk to other members or to the Platform.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The governing law and dispute resolution forum for these Terms are being finalised with legal advice, together with the contracting entity for JDEVerse.
Nothing in these Terms affects rights you have under the laws that apply to you, including any mandatory consumer protections.
16. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how JDEVerse collects, uses, stores and protects personal information, what is public, and the choices and rights available to you.
The Privacy Policy forms part of the information governing your use of the Platform where applicable, and should be read together with these Terms.
17. Content and Sources
Our Content & Source Policy explains how JDEVerse handles editorial content, community contributions, public-source information, attribution, AI-assisted content, corrections and reporting.
Community contributions represent the views or experience of their authors and are not automatically endorsed or verified by JDEVerse.
18. Changes to These Terms
We update these Terms when the Platform, our services or our practices materially change. The "Last updated" date identifies the current version. Where appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
19. Contact
For questions about these Terms, use the contact route linked from this page. Legal notice details are published alongside the contracting entity once that is finalised.
